From the 10th to 18th of October 2020 we have successfully crossed the Slovakian High Tatras, the smallest mountain range of the world, with a lovely group of 5 participants. A beautifully wild, quite alpine and wonderful lonely mountain area! Unfortunately we were quite unlucky with the weather and were surprised by an early winter start with ice, snow and cold temperatures, which made the climbing over the many rocks a lot more difficult, but due to the good atmosphere in our group we had an unforgettable and adventurous tour anyway. On our almost 80km long crossing from East to West from our starting point in Tatranska Lomnica to the final point in Strbske Pleso we could admire many crystal-clear mountain lakes, magnificent views, snow-covered peaks and an absolute wild landscape. You can get a short impression of our trip in our media gallery. And for everybody who got interested: we will repeat the Crossing several times next year, both as a normal trekking tour and as a snowshoe variant. More infos shortly, stay tuned!
