From the Luckner-Haus via Mürztaler Steig to Adlersruhe. After a simple breakfast at the hut, we headed to the summit. We enjoyed a good, but short weather window. The views from the top were magnificent in every direction. We highly recommend this route as it is a great mix of hiking, climbing and glacier crossings. Basic glacier gear is a must (ice axe, crampons, rope etc.)! If you go up via the Mürztaler Steig you can enjoy a nice circular route descending via the normal route.
